Pluto Jonze is a Sydney-based producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist. Adept at single-handedly creating unique and memorable recordings, he has a proven ability to score in a myriad of styles, including pop, indie, rock, folk, acoustic, electronica and more.
Over the past decade he has established himself as a unique voice in Australia’s Indie Pop/Rock scene, while also composing for stage and screen.
In 2009 Pluto won Tropscore, the scoring competition of the world’s largest film festival at the time, Tropfest.
In 2013 he released his debut album featuring Triple J and US college radio hits Plastic Bag in a Hurricane and Eject. In 2016 and he performed on Triple J’s Like A Version.
He has composed, performed and produced with established Australian acts such as Hey Geronimo, Ball Park Music, Jungle Giants, Megan Washington, Delta Riggs, Cub Sport and Tim Minchin.
From 2018 Pluto has composed for Bluey, a popular Australian children’s television series, now broadcast internationally by BBC (UK) and Disney (USA).
In 2019 he produced, orchestrated, engineered and mixed A Very Furnace Christmas by Furnace and the Fundamentals.This album reached No. 2 on Australian digital and vinyl album sales, and spent 10 weeks in the Top 20 of the German Rock DJ charts.
Pluto loves creating melodic hook lines, experimenting with unique sounds and enjoys the challenge of crafting the perfect score for any project.
