JAZZ D'ARCY
Female Vocals
With a voice described as soulful, rich, warm and authentic, Jazz is one of the rare performers who can strip away all the theatrics to express the raw and resonate vocal itself. Jazz puts her whole self into what she sings, her hypnotic voice mesmerising audiences and leaving a lasting impression.
Jazz has been involved with the creation of music her whole life, beginning as a singer-songwriter and falling into screen composition in 2009. Over the years she has picked up numerous awards and nominations, including a singer-songwriter QMA (Queensland Music Award) and Best Score at the Sydney Indie Film Festival in 2016.
In 2020, Jazz composed the (USA) feature film Romance on the Menu, and is currently a regular composer on hit Australian TV series Bluey (ABC, BBC, Disney), along with recent credits on SBS TV series The Family Law and Academy Accredited (AMPAS) short film Je suis un Crayon: I am a Pencil.
With a flexibility in style and range, Jazz often uses her vocals in her own compositions, but can also be heard in many scores including TV series The Strange Chores (ABC) and AACTA award-winning Robbie Hood (SBS).
Jazz’s compositions and vocals have screened in over 164 different countries and a multitude of film festivals including Tribeca (NYC), St Kilda, Flickerfest, Manhattan Shorts, Santa Barbara (LA) and Raindance (London).
Over the past decade, Jazz has dived into a kaleidoscope of musical interests; completing her studies in Screen Composing at AFTRS, opera training with Ruth Gurner, and creating and running open mic sessions whilst living and performing in Copenhagen, Denmark. Jazz has also fronted several bands, performed alongside industry standouts George Ellis, Emma Louise and Elana Stone, and performed at the QLD Music Awards and The Sydney Festival.

Jazz is currently in pre-production for the USA feature film This Little Love of Mine, and indie feature 1966.
